Juan served with the 1st and 3rd SF Groups and we understand he was instrumental in organizing B-2 of the 12th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in El Paso, Texas.
His awards and training include: Airborne Master Wings, SF Qualification, Viet Nam Service Medal – 2 service stars, ARCOM, RVN Campaign w/60 device, Vietnamese Jump Wings, CIB, Vietnamese Civil Action Medal & CZ JOC.
Juan Novoa is survived by his wife, Elvira Ann Novoa; son, Juan Jose Novoa; daughter, Veronica Getz; and two Grandchildren. RIP brother.
