Chaplain’s Corner - April 2012

There comes a time in our lives when we come to a fork in the road that demands we make a choice in order to continue moving forward in life. The most important fork in our lives is to choose either life in the flesh that ends with nothingness or eternal life separated from God, and the other half of the choice is to choose to accept God’s revelation of Himself in Jesus Christ and then enjoy eternal life in heaven in the presence of God in perfect peace, free from all pain, suffering, temptations and sin. It is never too late to change the course of your life now that you know the consequences of your past choices. For some of you, there was a time when your lifestyle put you into the nothingness or hell. You can change the course of your life by following Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Having chosen God in Heaven, you will be reconciled with God and you will be given the promise of eternal life with God in heaven. This is what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God have done for you. The choice is yours. Hope to see all of you in heaven. Chaplain John Szilvasy, LTC, SF (Ret)
