SPECIAL FORCES FAREWELL TO CW4 (Ret.) JOSE C. IBARRA - Three Taps on His Casket

On 22 April 2014, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Chapter IX, Isaac Camacho Chapter of the Special Forces Association and the Benavides-Patterson Chapter of the All- American Airborne Association paid their final respects to, and laid CW4 (ret) Jose Ibarra to rest.  Picture at left, saluting the casket as he  arrives the casket bearing Jose.

In the picture below, both Chapters file by and say farewell by tapping on Jose's casket three times.

Chapter IX Chaplain, John Szilvasy officiated at the burial.

At the moment of Jose Ibarra’s death, God received Jose into His heavenly kingdom with open and loving arms. He lived his allotted time on earth, sharing his life and love with family and friends. We thank God for the precious time we had with him, and yearn for the day when through our faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we will be with God and Jose in heaven forever.

Benediction

May the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the love of God, our heavenly Father, and in the love of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, and in the Holy Spirit, God's gift of His presence with us. May all of the wonderful blessings of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, rest upon you and remain with you forever. Amen

John Szilvasy, SFA IX Chaplain
