TAPS - Richard Cobbs LTC (ret)

Special Forces Chapter IX member Richard Cobbs passed away on March 4th. His El Paso services will be on 30 March at 1300 hours at the Scottsdale Baptist Church 10015 Lockerbie with interment at Arlington National Cemetary after.

Richard was an Military Intelligence officer who went to OCS. He served in Vietnam with the 441st MI Det who were attached to the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).



He was with the 1st SFG(A) for about 2 1/2 years. Richard also served with the 5th Special Forces Group. He retired a LTC.

He was an active member of Chapter IX for about 2 years and always a friendly face at our functions. Cancer took him suddenly. He is survived by his wife Linda Cobbs. God Bless and overwatch Richard's family.
