USASOC Changes Command Sergeants Major


MEDIA ADVISORY: USASOC to hold change of responsibility ceremony FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, June 7, 2012)-

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command will hold a change of responsibility ceremony June 14, 8:30 a.m. on Meadows Field at the U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters. Command Sgt. Maj. Parry L. Baer will relinquish responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. George A. Bequer in a traditional Army ceremony.

Bequer is taking responsibility following an assignment as the Special Operation Command Central command sergeant major. Baer has been the command sergeant major of USASOC since the December 2007 and will retire after 34 years of service. Host for the ceremony is Lt. Gen. John F. Mulholland Jr., commanding general of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
