2012 CSM Michael W. Jefferson Scholarship Award

The 2012 Award of the CSM Michael W. Jefferson Scholarship at New Mexico State University was awarded to Cadet Kyle Michael Murphy, who was the

inaugural winner in 2010.

Presenting the Award was CSM Jefferson's grandson, Rhett Michael Pendergrass, show in the picture at left with Stevie (Jefferson) Pendergrass and Cadet Murphy.

In the group photo below is Paul Pendergrass (brother in law to Stevie), Stevie Pendergrass, Shirley Jefferson, widow of CSM Jefferson, holding grandson Rhett, Cadet Murphy, and Cadet Joan Ferguson, who won the scholarship last year.
