John McLaughlin 5th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will again be at Fort Bliss at 0800 on 11 September 2010, even with the renovations they are doing.
U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) SF Adios Party will be held in April since the class is nearly finished.
It was announced that the Texas Veterans Association is going to lobby the state legislature to keep property tax reduction for spouses if the 100% disabled veteran passes away. Currently the reduction is void at time of death.
The Native American Pow Wow will take place at VFW 812 on April 30th through 2 May 2010.
Bryan Butterworth joined Chapter IX and Tony Beltran transferred to Chapter IX from his status as an “at large” member in Oregon.
Was Butterworth an 18 series or did her serve the required time in a SF unit in a support roll. Some of the stories he tells at work are a little over-the top.
